July 2004 was a month that
cadets were able to visit the Iowa National Guard Helicopter facility in
Boone Iowa. This facility is home to one of Iowa's sharpest helicopter Air
Wings.
After orientation and very informative lectures on several areas of the facility's functions as well as demonstrations from the facility's professional air personnel, Cadets were able to have hands on experience with the Black Hawk helicopters. |
