Petty Officer's Leadership Academy - March 2005 - Camp Dodge, Iowa

This years POLA was very different from the POLA of 2004. The weather, the people and the experiences gave this year's class of graduates something to remember. Each cadet came to this training with their own set of expectations and goals. The long training days which started early in the morning and ended late into the night focused on the skills and decision making abilities a good leader will need to meet the future challenges of the Navy and Sea Cadet Corps.
A week may not seem like a long period of time. However, in one week these cadets created team bonds and started down the road of being excellent leaders. As each cadet left to return to their home unit, they took with them the best of what they mastered.
The POLA class of 2004 has come and gone, but they take into their future the new friendships and experiences, and skills they found here. They are tomorrow's leaders.

Central Iowa Division attempts to document this unit's growth and activities through photography. Quite literally thousands of photos are taken and only a fraction are ever posted to the web.
